With the aim of achieving excellence in the treatment of urological and andrological problems, particularly those that are surgical, in the eighties we created the Serrate Institute of Urology and Andrology. Since then we have combined the application of verified medical advances with the most cutting-edge technologies on the market.
We have a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals who are pioneers of various urological treatments, including Laparoscopic Oncological Surgery, minimally invasive treatments for Prostate Cancer, the Lithotripsy Unit and Endoscopic Surgery for Prostate Adenoma. We performed Spain’s first penile implant for the treatment of male impotence and we also designed and patented a malleable penile prosthesis in 1987.
We are currently developing a new project which we have called the "Serrate & Ribal Institute of Urology". It will incorporate Dr María José Ribal into the Management Team, allowing her to contribute with the professionalism and experience she has acquired as the Head of Urologic Oncology at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona.
Multidisciplinary treatments and teamwork are our top priorities. We accompany our patients through their illness and its prevention in a personalised way, while taking into account their individual characteristics and needs.
We are located in the building at Vía Augusta 281-285, in collaboration with the new Mi Tres Torres Clinic.
